Sorry I'm getting to you so late today. We just came running back from a Service project up in Neyva! It was a blast! We cleared out a whole bunch of weeds from the field by their chapel, and then made a GIANT pot of Dominican spaghetti to serve 18 missionaries and some members. :) It rocked!
I don't have much time to fill you in on my week, but just know that I'm learning and growing lots and lots and lots. I've recently confronted a few of my major personality flaws, and I'm slowly coming to accept some of my other issues as just part of who I am. I know that the Lord has placed all of us on this earth with a purpose, and that each and every event/trial in our life time is something that the Lord has allowed us to pass through in order to grow and develop.
I feel SO blessed to be here in the Dominican Republic, more specifically in Barahona, rubbing shoulders with the missionaries in my Zone. I know this is where I need to be right now, and I know that this is the Lord's work.
I love you all, and I hope you have a fantastic week!
Love,
Elder Cade Mooney
